yarn store
I found a great yarn store in Grosse Pointe Park called Artisán Knitworks. I bought the 3 skeins of yarn shown below there. They had a great selection of beautiful hand-spun and hand-dyed yars
friend, funny woman, and fan of Dave Barry could use a hand. She and That Man of Hers lost their jobs and have had to pack up and try to find a living elsewhere. click pic to see her website.

the Cherry Tree Hill is worsted - I'm going to make another cat hat for a friend of my sisters.

I love that cat hat. I'm gonna have to make one for me. My hair's really short now, who cares if it's smushed when I get to school? Not me.
