



They are for my sister who is 6'2" and wears a lady's size 12 shoe. She's a Children's Librarian and a fan of Harry Potter so I made her a pair in Gryffindor's house colors. I used KnitPicks' worsted weight Swish yarn. They were done toe-up using the Judy Becker Magic Cast-on and the Andersson heel.

Beautifully done, and well worth the misplacing of one dpn. I've never tried stripes; I hate weaving in ends, especially on socks. You've got a lot more patience than I have!
